Here are some Frequently Asked Question we have received about our furniture.

What do I do if my furniture arrives damaged?

Please inspect your package and look for any damage.  If your product is damaged upon receipt you must contact the trucking company immediately.  Please save all packaging material and do not use the damaged product.  Also, please contact us so we can work with you to handle the problem to your satisfaction.

How do I finish my furniture?

  1. Western Red Cedar is an appearance-grade wood.  I would recommend using Oil Base Sikkens Cetol, Penofin or Ready Seal type product.  These products are easy to use; "wipe on, wipe off", and provide a high aesthetic appeal and long lasting durability; even under severe conditions.   Please visit the websites for these products and select a color you desire.  No finish will last forever, so depending on conditions you will probably need to re-coat your furniture in a year or two depending on the environment, however, these products make re-coating easy.  It is very important to read the instructions on these products before use.

  2. You may paint your furniture, however you must first utilize an acrylic water based primer and then coat the product with a water based acrylic enamel top coat.  If you do not use a primer the cedar will always "bleed though" your top coat.

What happens if I don't put any finish on my chair?

Over time your chair will change to an attractive silver/gray color.

Do I  pay a sales tax on my purchase?

All items shipped to New Jersey residents will require a 7% sales tax.

What is my Guarantee?

If you are not 100% satisfied with our products we will make every reasonable effort to make it right.
